Sweet potato casserole
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- flour - 1/3 c
- stick margarine - 1/2 item
- brown sugar - 1 c
- evaporated milk - 1/2 c
- coconut - 1 c
- butter flavoring - 1/2 tsp
- white sugar - 1 c
- mashed sweet potatoes, cooked - 3 c
How to make sweet potato casserole:
Cook potatoes, drain and mash. Mix with the white sugar, 1/2 stick margarine, evaporated milk, butter flavoring and eggs. Mix well and place in casserole dish.Topping: Mix the brown sugar, flour, coconut, 1/2 stick margarine and chopped nuts and sprinkle over potato mixture. Bake at 350° for 35 minutes. Can add some of the potato juice, if needed.
