Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 Tbsp
- milk - 3 Tbsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- baking powder - 3 tsp
- shortening - 1/3 c
- all-purpose flour - 1 c
- mashed sweet potato - 1 c
How to make sweet potato biscuits:
Sift together dry ingredients. Cut in shortening (can use fork). Add sweet potatoes and enough milk to make a soft dough. Knead lightly. Roll dough to 1/2-inch thickness. Cut biscuits with cutter and place on baking sheet. Bake at 425° for 15 toRecipe categories: Breads, Potato, Rolls/biscuits.
