Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- brown sugar - 1/4 c
- cornstarch - 2 Tbsp
- water - 1/4 c
- vinegar - 1/4 c
- soy sauce - 1 Tbsp
- onion, sliced - 1/2 item
- green pepper, sliced - 1 item
- pork
- pineapple chunks reserve juice - 2 c
How to make sweet and sour pork:
Put pork strips in crock-pot. Add pepper and onion in bowl. Mix sugar and cornstarch. Add 1 cup pineapple juice, vinegar, water and soy sauce. Blend. Pour over meat. Cover and cook on low for 5 to 7 hours. One hour before serving, add pineapple.In memory of Jan Northcott.
