Ingredients/Components

  • chopped onions - 2 item
  • ground beef - 1 lb
  • egg - 1 item
  • bread crumbs - 1 item
  • water - 1 item
  • salt - 1 item
  • cans tomato sauce - 2 oz
  • juice from 1 lemon
  • brown sugar - 2 Tbsp
  • white sugar - 2 Tbsp
  • vinegar - 2 tsp
  • grape jelly - 1 Tbsp

How to make sweet and sour meatballs:

Brown the onions. Remove from pan and brown meatballs. Drain. Simmer sauce for 1 1/2 hours or longer, until it thickens.
