Ingredients/Components

  • eggs - 2 item
  • flour - 1/4 c
  • brown sugar - 1/2 c
  • vinegar - 1/4 c
  • ground turkey - 1 pkg
  • ground beef - 1 lb
  • basil - 1 tsp
  • salt to taste - 1 item
  • thyme - 1 tsp
  • onion powder - 2 Tbsp
  • chives - 1 Tbsp
  • cans stewed tomatoes - 2 item
  • sausage - 1 pkg

How to make sweet and sour meatballs:

In large bowl, combine turkey, sausage, ground beef, salt, eggs, onion powder, chives, basil, thyme and flour. Mix well. Roll into balls. Deep fry or bake. In large kettle or skillet, combine over low heat stewed tomatoes, vinegar and brown sugar. To this mixture, add meatballs. Simmer 1 hour.
