Sweet and sour meatballs
Ingredients/Components
- ground beef - 1 lb
- egg - 1 item
- salt - 1 tsp
- dash of black pepper - 1 item
- chopped onion - 1 Tbsp
- seasoned salt to taste - 1 item
- cornstarch - 1 Tbsp
- oil - 1 Tbsp
- pineapple juice - 1 c
- soy sauce - 1 Tbsp
- vinegar - 3 Tbsp
- water - 6 Tbsp
- brown sugar - 1/4 1/2
- slices cut-up pineapple - 4 item
- green peppers, cut in strips - 2 item
How to make sweet and sour meatballs:
Mix beef, egg, seasonings and onions. Make small meatballs. Brown and drain. Add oil to pineapple juice and cook slowly for few minutes. Add mixture to cornstarch, vinegar, water, brown sugar and soy sauce. Add pineapple and green peppers. Cook slowly for 30 minutes.
