Ingredients/Components

  • ground chuck - 2 lb
  • dry onion soup mix - 1/2 pkg
  • slices bread dampened with water and squeezed - 2 item
  • ketchup
  • vinegar - 8 Tbsp
  • apricot nectar - 1 c
  • brown sugar - 8 Tbsp
  • prepared mustard - 4 tsp
  • prepared horseradish - 4 tsp
  • Worcestershire sauce - 2 tsp

How to make sweet and sour meatballs:

Sauce:1 c. ketchup8 Tbsp. vinegar1 c. apricot nectar8 Tbsp. brown sugar4 tsp. prepared mustard4 tsp. prepared horseradish2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce Combine meat, bread and soup. Brown Meatballs in butter. Combine all Sauce ingredients and simmer 10 minutes. Add Meatballs and heat 10 minutes. Makes about 50 small balls.
