Sweet and sour meatballs
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1/4 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- light cream - 1/4 c
- egg, well beaten - 1 item
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 Tbsp
- garlic salt - 1/2 tsp
- chili sauce - 12 oz
- grape jelly
- small onion, chopped - 1 item
- hamburg - 1 lb
- powdered sage - 1/2 tsp
- Progresso crumbs - 1/4 c
How to make sweet and sour meatballs:
Sauce:10 oz. grape jelly12 oz. chili sauce1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce1/2 tsp. garlic salt1/8 tsp. pepper1/4 c. light cream Meatballs: Combine all ingredients. Shape into small meatballs and brown in frying pan.Sauce: Melt grape jelly; add chili sauce and mix well. Add Worcestershire sauce, garlic salt and pepper; mix well. Add light cream and meatballs; simmer for 30 minutes.
