Ingredients/Components
- rice - 2/3 c
- salt - 2/3 tsp
- water - 6 c
- milk - 3 c
- large can canned milk - 1 item
- vanilla pudding
- sugar - 1/3 c
- beaten egg - 1 item
- raisins - 1 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- cinnamon if desired - 1 item
How to make swedish rice pudding:
Boil rice and salt in water. Warm milk and canned milk; stir into cooked rice and add pudding, sugar, egg and raisins. Bring to a boil and add vanilla and cinnamon. Can be served either cool or warm.Recipe categories: Desserts, Puddings and mousses, Side dish.
