Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- butter or margarine - 1/2 lb
- all-purpose flour - 1 c
- large eggs - 4 item
- 4 oz - 4 sq
- pecans, coarsely broken - 1 c
How to make super brownies:
In a double boiler over hot water, stirring often, melt butter and chocolate. Remove from range and double boiler bottom; reserve. In a medium bowl, stir together flour and sugar; add eggs and vanilla and beat until smooth. Add reserved chocolate mixture and beat to blend. Fold in pecans. Turn into a buttered 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan. Bake in a preheated 350° oven until a cake tester inserted in center comes out clean, about 25 minutes.
