Sunshine salad
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- pkg - 2 oz
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- boiling water - 2 c
- miniature marshmallows
- oleo - 2 Tbsp
- whipped topping - 1 pkg
- pineapple juice - 1 c
- bananas, diced - 2 item
- Topping:1 egg, beaten
- cold water or ice cubes to jell gelatin
How to make sunshine salad:
Topping:1 egg, beaten1/2 c. sugar2 Tbsp. flour2 Tbsp. oleo1 c. pineapple juice1 pkg. whipped topping Make jello as usual and add fruit when partially jelled. Let set and add topping.Topping: In saucepan, combine the egg, oleo, sugar and flour. Make paste and gradually stir in juice. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened. Let mixture cool and fold into whipped topping. Spread over gelatin mixture. Let set until cold.
