Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 item
- garlic salt - 1 item
- apricot preserves - 1/3 c
- bottle Russian dressing - 1 item
- to 10 chicken breasts - 8 item
- Lipton dry onion soup mix - 1 pkg
How to make sunday chicken:
Put chicken breasts in a baking dish (I use a 9 x 13-inch dish). Lightly sprinkle salt and garlic salt on chicken. In a bowl, mix the next 3 ingredients and pour mixture over chicken. (Robert and I enjoy this sauce so much that I double the quantities.) Bake, covered, at 300° for 2 hours. Serve over rice or noodles. Fruit garnishes make this dish pretty.This wonderful recipe came from my T.B.N. cookbook and originated from Mrs. Mike Barber.
