Sugarless fruit cake
Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 2 tsp
- vanilla - 1 Tbsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- water - 1 c
- soda - 2 tsp
- eggs, beaten - 4 item
- chopped dates - 1 c
- raisins - 1 c
- pecans - 1/2 c
- oleo - 1/2 c
- pineapple chunks - 1 c
- pineapple juice - 1 c
- prunes, chopped - 1 c
How to make sugarless fruit cake:
Bring to boil the fruits, oleo, water and juice. Simmer 2 minutes. Let cool. Mix flour, soda, cinnamon, salt, eggs, nuts and vanilla. Add to cooled fruit mixture. Pour into angel food cake pan. Cook at 325° for 40 minutes or until done. Very moist and good.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, < 60 mins.
