Ingredients/Components

  • eggs - 2 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • flour - 4 c
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • margarine or butter - 1 c
  • powdered sugar - 1 c
  • cream of tartar - 1 tsp
  • white sugar - 1 c
  • corn oil or vegetable oil - 1 c

How to make sugar cookies:

Cream together sugar, butter and oil until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla; add dry ingredients and roll in sugar in small balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Press down with glass. Bake in a 350° to 375° oven for 10 minutes.
