  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • soda
  • powdered sugar
  • sifted flour
  • cream of tartar - 1 tsp
  • butter or oleo - 1 c
  • egg unbeaten - 1 item
  • almond flavoring - 1/2 tsp

How to make sugar cookies:

Combine butter and sugar; add egg and beat well. Add flavoring and dry ingredients. Roll out dough and cut. Bake at 350° for 10 minutes.
