Stuffed green peppers
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- chopped onion - 1 Tbsp
- ground beef - 1/2 lb
- bread or cracker crumbs - 1 c
- can condensed tomato soup - 1/2 1/2
- soup can water - 1/2 item
- large green peppers stem and seeds removed - 6 item
How to make stuffed green peppers:
Cook peppers in boiling water for 5 minutes. Drain. Mix ground beef, bread or cracker crumbs, salt, pepper and chopped onion. Add tomato soup. Stuff peppers with meat mixture. Stand upright in small baking dish. Pour over remaining soup, diluted with 1/2 soup can water. Bake, covered, 45 minutes and uncovered 15 minutes longer at 350°.
