How to make strawberry tarts:
Cut cream cheese and butter into flour. Work with the combination until it clings together in a ball. Chill well in the refrigerator. Roll cream cheese pastry out into a thin layer on a lightly floured board. Cut into small circles. Place a small amount of strawberry jam on each. Fold pastry over and crimp edges together with a fork. Brush tops with milk and sprinkle lightly with a mixture of cinnamon and sugar and finely chopped nuts. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 425° for about 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Makes about 12 tarts.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pies and tarts, Tarts.
