Strawberry sorbet
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- hot water - 1/2 c
- lemon juice - 2 Tbsp
- orange juice - 1/2 c
- fresh hulled strawberries - 1 pt
How to make strawberry sorbet:
Dissolve sugar in hot water and let cool. Add lemon juice and orange juice. Blend strawberries with juice mixture until smooth in a blender or food processor. Pour into a bowl and put in freezer. Check after 1 to 2 hours. When top edges are frozen, blenderize again. Freeze in bowl until firm. Makes 6 (1/2 cup) servings.Recipe categories: Desserts, Frozen desserts, Strawberry.
