  • sugar - 3 Tbsp
  • pkg - 1 oz
  • boiling water - 3 c
  • frozen strawberries - 16 oz
  • strawberry jello - 2 or
  • crushed pretzels
  • 1/2 sticks margarine, melted - 1 item
  • envelope Dream Whip - 1 item

How to make strawberry pretzel salad:

Mix first 3 ingredients together and pat in a 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake 10 minutes at 350°. Cool. Mix cream cheese, Dream Whip and 1 cup sugar together and spread on top of cooked pretzel base. Dissolve jello in water. Drop in frozen strawberries when jello is slightly thickened. Pour over cream cheese layer. Sprinkle crushed pretzels over top. Serves 12 to 15.
