  • 9-inch pie shell
  • strawberry jello powder - 3 Tbsp
  • sugar - 1 c
  • cornstarch
  • warm water - 1 c
  • few drops red food coloring - 1 item
  • sliced strawberries - 1 pt
  • whipped cream if desired - 1 item

How to make strawberry pie:

Bake pie shell. Mix together jello, sugar and cornstarch. Then add warm water and red food coloring. Cook until it thickens, stirring constantly. Cool. Add sliced strawberries. Pour into baked pie shell. When set, top with whipped cream, if desired.
