  • sugar
  • eggs - 4 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • sour cream - 1/2 c
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • flour - 3 c
  • butter - 1 c
  • soda - 1/2 tsp
  • nuts - 1/2 c
  • cream of tartar - 3/4 tsp
  • lemon extract - 1/4 tsp
  • strawberry jam - 1 c

How to make strawberry nut bread:

Mix butter, sugar, vanilla and lemon extract together. Add eggs. Sift flour, salt, cream of tartar and soda together. Combine jam and sour cream. Add jam mixture alternately with flour mixture to creamed mixture. Stir in nuts and pour into 2 loaf pans. Bake at 350° for 50 minutes. Cool 10 minutes before removing from pans.
