Strawberry nut bread
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- eggs - 2 item
- vegetable oil - 1/2 c
- sugar - 1 c
- flour - 2 c
- cinnamon
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- baking soda - 1/2 tsp
- ground nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- chopped walnuts or pecans - 3/4 c
How to make strawberry nut bread:
Defrost berries according to package directions. Beat eggs until fluffy. Add oil, sugar and berries, beating until light. Mix flour, cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda, nutmeg and salt. Blend flour mixture into strawberry mixture just until flour is moistened. DO NOT OVERMIX! Stir in nuts. Pour into 9 1/2 x 5-inch loaf pan. Bake at 350° for 50 to 60 minutes or until tester inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool for 5 minutes.
