  • cold milk - 2 c
  • hot water
  • yellow cake mix - 1 pkg
  • vanilla instant pudding
  • frozen strawberries
  • strawberry jello
  • small tub Cool Whip - 1 item

How to make strawberry cake:

Bake cake according to package instructions in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish that is suitable for storage in the refrigerator, using amounts of egg and water indicated on the box. Cool cake, then poke holes in cake with a metal skewer. Dilute jello with hot water and slowly pour over cake. Prepare pudding according to package instructions. Spread over cake. Mash frozen strawberries (thaw slightly in microwave) and mix with Cool Whip. Spread strawberry mixture over cake. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours before serving.
