  • sugar - 1 c
  • eggs - 2 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • flour
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • soft margarine - 1/2 c
  • mashed strawberries fresh or 1 16 oz - 1 c
  • low-fat yogurt plain or strawberry - 1/2 c

How to make strawberry bread:

Beat margarine, sugar, eggs and vanilla for 1 1/2 minutes. Add berries and yogurt; mix well. Sift dry ingredients together; stir into batter. Spoon into greased 9 x 5-inch loaf pan. Bake at 350° for 50 to 60 minutes. Cool in pan for 15 minutes, then remove from pan and cool on wire rack.
