Ingredients/Components
- butter or margarine - 2 Tbsp
- salt - 1/8 tsp
- lemon juice - 1 tsp
- garlic powder - 1/8 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 tsp
- parsley - 2 Tbsp
- finely chopped onion - 2 Tbsp
- cup butter or margarine - 1/4 item
- cup thinly sliced fresh mushrooms - 1/2 item
- beef tenderloin, cut into 8 slices - 1 lb
How to make steak diane:
Melt butter in small saucepan. Add mushrooms, onion, garlic powder, salt, lemon juice and Worcestershire sauce. Cook and stir until mushrooms are tender. Add parsley; keep sauce warm.In medium skillet, melt 2 Tbsp. butter. Cook tenderloin slices over medium high heat to medium doneness, turning meat once. This takes 3 - 4 minutes.
Serve tenderloin slices with mushroom butter.
