Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 6 Tbsp
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- grated onion - 2 tsp
- shortening, melted - 2 Tbsp
- grated yellow squash - 2 c
How to make squash patties:
Combine first 5 ingredients in bowl; mix well. Let stand for 30 minutes; drain. Stir in flour and eggs. Drop by tablespoonfuls into hot shortening in skillet. Cook until golden brown, turning once. Yields 6 servings.Recipe categories: Breads, Vegetables, North american.
