Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 1 Tbsp
- water - 1/4 c
- vinegar - 1/4 c
- paprika - 1/2 tsp
- chopped onion - 1/4 c
- slices bacon - 2 item
- fresh spinach - 1/2 lb
- hard-cooked egg, cut up - 1 item
How to make spinach salad:
Cook bacon until crisp; drain and crumble. Blend flour, paprika, salt and sugar into bacon grease. Add onion, water and vinegar. Cook until thickened, stirring constantly. Arrange spinach in bowl; top with bacon and egg. Add sauce and toss.Recipe categories: American, Salads, North american.
