Spinach salad
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- vegetable oil - 1/2 c
- vinegar - 1/4 c
- lemon juice - 3 Tbsp
- dash of pepper - 1 item
- clove garlic, crushed - 1 item
- slices cooked bacon, crumbled - 6 item
- hard-cooked eggs - 2 item
- fresh sliced mushrooms - 1 item
- purple onions - 3 item
- fresh spinach, torn into bite size - 1 lb
How to make spinach salad:
Combine oil, vinegar, lemon juice, garlic, sugar, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil; let cool, then place in a jar and refrigerate. Combine spinach, eggs, mushrooms, bacon and purple onion; toss.
