Spinach salad
Ingredients/Components
- bunch baby spinach - 1 item
- bunch romaine lettuce - 1 item
- cans sliced water chestnuts - 2 item
- sliced mushrooms - 2 c
- red onions, sliced - 2 item
- boiled eggs, sliced optional - 4 item
- bacon bits or fried bacon - 1 item
- canola oil - 1 c
- red vinegar - 1/4 c
- ketchup - 1/2 c
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 Tbsp
- salt - 1 Tbsp
- green onions, chopped fine - 4 item
How to make spinach salad:
Toss together spinach, lettuce, chestnuts, mushrooms, onions, eggs (if using) and bacon. Can be put onto individual salad plates. Mix together in a quart jar the oil, vinegar, ketchup, Worcestershire, salt and green onions. Shake well before serving.Recipe categories: American, Salads, North american.
