Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- salt - 3/4 tsp
- water - 1 Tbsp
- nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
- ground cloves - 1/8 tsp
- egg white - 1 item
- 1 qt - 4 c
How to make spiced nuts:
Beat egg white until frothy. Add water; beat until soft peaks form. Stir in pecans until coated. Combine sugar, salt and spices; sprinkle over pecans. Toss gently. Spread on cookie sheet. Bake at 300° for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove immediately from cookie sheet; cool on waxed paper. Store in airtight container.
