Spanish rice pronto
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- melted butter - 1/4 c
- hot water - 2 c
- diced green pepper - 1/3 c
- dash of pepper - 1 item
- each - 2 cans
- minute rice - 2 c
- thin sliced onion - 1/2 c
How to make spanish rice pronto:
Saut?© onion, green pepper and minute rice (right out of the box) in melted butter. Add remaining ingredients. Mix well. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 5 minutes.Makes 6 servings.
You may use 4 cups (2 cans, 1 lb. each) of tomatoes and omit water.
