Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 tsp
- water - 6 c
- chili powder - 1 tsp
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- cans tomatoes - 2 item
- rice
- green pepper - 1 item
- slices bacon - 5 item
- onions - 3 item
How to make spanish rice:
Cook rice in 6 cups water. Cook bacon; brown onions in bacon fat until light brown. Drain rice and mix with ingredients. Put in greased casserole dish. Bake at 375° for 45 minutes; then turn down heat to 350° and bake 20 minutes more.Recipe categories: Low protein, Low fat, Side dish.
