Spanish rice
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- oil - 2 Tbsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- clove garlic, minced - 1 item
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- chopped celery - 1/2 c
- chopped green pepper - 1 item
- ground beef - 1 lb
- oregano - 1/8 tsp
- can tomatoes - 1 oz
- rice uncooked - 1 c
How to make spanish rice:
Fry onion, garlic, celery and green pepper in oil. Remove from pan and add meat. Cook, stirring frequently, until meat is brown. Add vegetables and remaining ingredients. Mix well. Pour in greased 2-quart casserole. Bake at 400° for 1 hour. Serves 6.Recipe categories: Low protein, Low fat, Side dish.
