Ingredients/Components
- salt
- oil - 4 tsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- catsup - 6 Tbsp
- ground meat - 1 lb
- large onion, minced - 1 item
- raw rice - 1 c
- canned tomato - 2 c
How to make spanish rice:
Cook first 3 items until meat is brown. Add other ingredients in order. Cover and turn heat to low cook 45 minutes. Do not lift cover after heat is turned down. This is best cooked in iron skillet or heavy pan.Recipe categories: Low protein, Low fat, Side dish.
