Spaghetti pie
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 2
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- oleo - 2 Tbsp
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- garlic salt - 1/2 tsp
- Parmesan cheese - 1/3 c
- ground beef
- oregano - 1/2 tsp
- Mozzarella cheese - 8 oz
- medium onion, chopped - 1 item
- spaghetti sauce - 1 (15
- carton cottage cheese - 12 oz
- spaghetti, broken in 2-inch pieces - 1/2 lb
How to make spaghetti pie:
Cook spaghetti; drain. Stir in oleo, Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper and beaten egg until thoroughly combined. Put in 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.Saute meat and onions in a little oil in a large skillet until meat is browned; drain. Stir in sauce, sugar, oregano and garlic salt.
Spread cottage cheese over spaghetti; layer meat sauce over cottage cheese. Bake at 325° for 30 minutes. Sprinkle with Mozzarella and bake another 10 minutes.
