Spaghetti bake
Ingredients/Components
- ground beef, browned and drained
- tomatoes, diced - 1 qt
- can tomato sauce - 15 oz
- onion, chopped - 1 item
- sugar - 2 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- oregano
- sweet basil - 1 tsp
- minced garlic clove - 1 item
- hot Mexican chili powder - 1 tsp
- spaghetti, cooked and drained do not rinse - 8 oz
- mushrooms - 4 oz
- Mozzarella cheese - 8 oz
- Parmesan cheese - 1 item
How to make spaghetti bake:
Mix ground beef, tomatoes, tomato sauce, onion, sugar, salt, oregano, basil, garlic and chili powder; simmer 30 minutes. Cook and drain spaghetti (do not rinse). Add to meat mixture and add mushrooms. Put 1/2 mixture in 9 x 13-inch pan. Top with Mozzarella cheese. Add remainder of meat mixture. Top with Parmesan cheese. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes, covering the first 20 minutes.Recipe categories: Main dish, Casseroles, Pork sausage.
