  • 5 oz
  • cloves garlic, minced - 2 item
  • chili powder - 2 Tbsp
  • ground cumin - 1 tsp
  • corn - 2 c
  • sliced scallions - 1/4 c
  • ground turkey breast - 1 lb
  • elbow macaroni, cooked - 8 oz

How to make southwestern stew:

In a 4-quart pot over medium high heat cook the turkey and garlic until the turkey is no longer pink, 5 to 10 minutes, stirring often. Pour off the fat. Add the tomato, corn, chili powder and cumin. Bring the mixture to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and cook for 15 minutes. Add the macaroni and scallions and heat through. Servings: 6.
