  • sugar - 1 c
  • eggs - 3 item
  • vanilla extract - 1 tsp
  • unbaked 9-inch pastry shell - 1 item
  • light corn syrup - 3/4 c
  • pecans
  • 1/2 stick margarine - 1/4 c

How to make southern pecan pie:

Melt margarine over low heat. Remove from heat. Mix in sugar and corn syrup. Blend in eggs and vanilla extract. Add pecans. Pour into pie shell. Bake at 350° for 40 to 45 minutes or until well done.
