Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla extract - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- light corn syrup - 1/2 c
- pecans - 1 c
- melted butter or margarine - 1/2 c
- 9-inch pie shell, uncooked - 1 item
How to make pecan pie:
Combine butter, sugar and corn syrup. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until sugar is dissolved. Cool; add eggs, vanilla and salt. Mix well. Pour into pie shell and top with pecan halves.
