Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 Tbsp
- water
- plain flour - 2 c
- dry yeast - 1/2 pkg
How to make sourdough starter:
Combine ingredients in a glass bowl. Beat well. Cover and let stand 2 days in warm place. It must have air. Do not refrigerate. After 1 week you may give a cup to a friend. To replenish as used add 1 cup water, 1 cup flour and 1 cup sugar.Recipe categories: Breads, American, Southern u.s..
