- butter 2 sticks - 1 c
- sugar - 3 c
- eggs - 6 item
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- almond extract - 1/2 tsp
- sifted flour - 3 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- soda - 1/4 tsp
- 8 oz - 1 c
How to make sour cream pound cake:
Preheat oven to 325°. Grease and flour 10-inch tube pan or 12-inch Bundt pan. In large mixer bowl, cream butter; gradually add sugar and beat until light and fluffy. Add eggs 1 at a time and flavoring. Sift together flour, salt and soda; add to creamed mixture alternately with sour cream. Pour batter into prepared pans and bake 1 hour and 15 minutes or until toothpick inserted in cake comes out clean. Cool in pan about 15 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Eggs/dairy, Cakes.
