- sugar - 3 c
- vanilla extract - 1 tsp
- sour cream - 1 c
- almond extract - 1 tsp
- baking powder - 1/4 tsp
- sifted flour - 3 c
- butter flavoring - 2 tsp
- lemon extract - 1 tsp
- softened margarine - 1 c
- separated eggs - 6 item
How to make sour cream pound cake:
With mixer, cream sugar and margarine in mixer bowl until creamy. Add egg yolks, one at a time, beating well after each. Sift flour 3 times. Blend soda into sour cream. Add flour and sour cream mixture alternately to creamed mixture. Mix well after each addition. Add flavorings. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Pour into well-greased and lightly floured 10-inch tube pan. Bake at 350° for 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hours.Recipe categories: Desserts, Eggs/dairy, Cakes.
