  • sugar - 3 c
  • eggs - 6 item
  • vanilla extract - 1 tsp
  • sour cream - 1 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • butter - 1 c
  • almond extract - 1/4 tsp
  • baking soda - 1/4 tsp
  • sifted flour - 3 c
  • apricot brandy - 1/2 c
  • rum - 1/2 tsp
  • orange extract - 1 tsp
  • lemon extract - 1/2 tsp

How to make sour cream pound cake:

Cream together sugar and butter until fluffy. Add eggs, 1 at a time and beat each. Sift together flour, salt and baking soda and stir into mixture. Add sour cream and mix. Add extracts, rum and brandy and mix. Pour into well-greased, well-floured tube pan. Bake at 350° for 70 to 80 minutes, until done.
