Sour cream coffee cake

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 2 c
• cinnamon - 1 tsp
• eggs - 2 item
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• sour cream - 1 c
• salt - 1/4 tsp
• flour - 2 c
• brown sugar - 4 Tbsp
• butter - 1 c
• soda - 1/4 tsp
• baking powder - 1 tsp
• chopped nuts or dates - 1 c

How to make sour cream coffee cake:

Cream butter and sugar; add eggs, flour, sour cream, vanilla, baking powder, soda and salt and mix well. Pour 1/2 of batter into greased tube pan. Sprinkle topping of cinnamon, brown sugar and nuts or dates on top of batter and top with remaining batter. Bake at 325° for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Cake will fall slightly when removed from oven.
