Sour cream coffee cake
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- sour cream - 1 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- brown sugar - 4 Tbsp
- butter - 1 c
- soda - 1/4 tsp
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- chopped nuts or dates - 1 c
How to make sour cream coffee cake:
Cream butter and sugar; add eggs, flour, sour cream, vanilla, baking powder, soda and salt and mix well. Pour 1/2 of batter into greased tube pan. Sprinkle topping of cinnamon, brown sugar and nuts or dates on top of batter and top with remaining batter. Bake at 325° for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
