Sour cream coffee cake
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 1 Tbsp
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- sour cream - 1 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- brown sugar - 2 Tbsp
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- margarine - 1 c
- pecans, chopped - 3/4 c
How to make sour cream coffee cake:
Cream together the margarine, sugar and eggs. Add the sour cream and vanilla. Sift flour, baking powder and salt and mix with other ingredients. In a separate bowl, combine the pecans, cinnamon and brown sugar for the topping.Spoon 1/4 of batter in an angel food or spring-form pan. Sprinkle on 2/3 of the topping. Pour in remaining batter and sprinkle remaining topping on top. Bake at 350° for 75 minutes. Test with a toothpick.
