Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- sour cream - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1/2 c
- brown sugar - 3/4 c
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- sifted flour
- margarine - 1 c
How to make sour cream coffee cake:
Filling:2 tsp. cinnamon3/4 c. brown sugar1/2 c. chopped nuts Sift dry ingredients. Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs. Add vanilla and blend. Add dry ingredients alternately with sour cream. Turn half of batter into a well-greased and floured 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan. Sprinkle half sugar mixture. Top with remaining batter and balance of sugar nut mixture. Can also be baked in 10-inch tube pan. Bake at 375° for 30 minutes in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan. Drizzle with confectioners sugar icing.Recipe categories: Breads, Breakfast, Coffee cakes.
