stick butter - 1 item
eggs - 2 item
pint sour cream - 1/2 item
vanilla - 1 tsp
cups flour - 2 item
baking powder - 1 tsp
cup milk - 1/2 item
can cherry pie filling topping - 1 item
Topping:1/4 cup sugar
cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
cup chopped nuts - 1/2 item

How to make sour cream cherry cake:

Topping:1/4 cup sugar1/2 tsp. cinnamon1/2 cup chopped nuts Combine butter, sugar, beat in eggs one at a time. Beat in sour cream and vanilla until smooth. Sift together flour, soda, and baking powder and beat into creamed mixture, alternately with the milk until mixed well. Pour 1/2 the batter into a lightly greased tube pan with a removable bottom. Spread cherry pie filling over batter in pan and pour remaining batter on top. Mix topping ingredients: Sprinkle on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 50-60 minutes. Let cake cool before removing sides of pan. DO NOT INVERT.
