- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 5 item
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- sour cream - 1 c
- chopped nuts - 3/4 c
- stick butter - 1 item
- self-rising flour - 2 c
- plain flour - 1/2 c
- Crisco - 1/2 c
- Add eggs, one at a time
How to make sour cream cake:
Cream Crisco, cream, butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time. Add 1/2 cup of flour at a time. Add flavoring. Pour into 3 greased and floured 9-inch pans. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes.Icing:1 c. sour cream2 c. sugar3/4 c. chopped nuts Boil sour cream and sugar for 1 minute. Pour over warm layers.
