Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- butter or margarine - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- nutmeg
- soda - 1 tsp
- sifted flour
- egg unbeaten - 1 item
- thick sour cream - 1/2 c
How to make soft sugar cookies:
Mix together flour, soda and salt. Combine butter, egg, sugar and flavoring. Add sour cream and half of flour. Blend. Add remaining flour. Roll to 1/4-inch thickness on lightly floured surface. Cut. Place on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 400° for 8 to 10 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cookie and brownie, Rolled cookies.
