  • sugar - 1/2 c
  • cinnamon - 2 Tbsp
  • eggs - 4 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • sour cream - 1/2 pt
  • chopped nuts - 1 c
  • brown sugar - 2 Tbsp
  • stick butter - 1 item
  • Wesson oil - 3/4 c
  • Pet milk - 1/2 c
  • Beat well
  • box Duncan Hines golden butter cake mix - 1 item

How to make sock it to me cake:

Beat eggs; add sour cream, then cake mix, sugar, Wesson oil and flavoring. Beat well. Fold in nuts. Pour 1/2 of batter in a greased and floured tube pan. Sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon and then add rest of batter. Bake at 350° for 50 minutes or until done.Icing:1 1/2 c. brown sugar1/2 c. Pet milk1 stick butter Mix together and bring to a rolling boil, let boil 3 to 4 minutes, stirring constantly. Cool slightly, then pour over cooled cake.
